I just couldn't spend this beautiful day painting in the basement. Who knew I'd beat my new record? I think I got my first 40 on this shoot and I know I've topped my x's. I'm trying really hard to keep my eye focused on the front sight and the front sight only. Seems to be working! :) :) :)

(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif)Very nice shooting Mark, a FYI for you, the vertical stringing of your shots is from breathing.....Shoot Safe and Enjoy......Bill(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cool.gif)

Praise from Caesar! Thanks Bill. I didn't know that about the breathing... good to know! Now the trick is to figure out what to do with the information. Gonna have to go back out tomorrow, practice a bit more, and see what happens. I'm working on my NRA 4 position AR qualification along with these friendly competitions. It's a very long course, but I'm only 2 targets away from Sharpshooter. Those tiny targets make for very good practice.

That first targets a bit sloppy Bill! What happened there then? LOL :D

Truman....my same thoughts.....those groups are huge for Bill!!!!
Switched over to the Hammerli Titan for this and the Steriod 15 matches. After over 3000 shots the Titan have tamed down abit and is pretty accurate....but I still need to squeeze off a shot beforeit's weight start tomake me shake. I think this score is one of my highest in this event.

Two pellets in the same hole....that was pure luck ...LOL LOL.....Bill(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cool.gif)

Pleased as punch with my first 4 shots, then it all started to go bad!! I blame it on the rain!!
Disco .22 (with modded trigger) leapers 3-9x32 set on 3 (Notice every week I decrease the mag and my scores increase! Next week I will turn the scope around completely!!)

My remote line sprung a leak so I had to find the tube cap and use two CO2 carts.I was playing around for a while maybe too long my last 5 shots were really dropping off .It felt great to be outside on a day warm enough to shoot CO2.

(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif)Andy....The target I use has a black dot for center of bulleye. It makes it easy for the shot, prevents drifting and wobble in my sight picture......Shoot Safe and Enjoy........Bill(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cool.gif)
-
I'll give those dots a try this weekend! And hopefully I will have got the new butt sorted out! I'll see you at the line Bill(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif)

Hey Stan, I was checking out the targets from last year and you have really tightened up those groups of yours! I thought I had a fighting chance this weekend but your game is far more consistent than mine! Keep up the good shooting Bud(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif)
