has anyone figured out how to make the safety on the b26 to a ful manual instead of auto.
-
Try not cocking it fully. Once you hear the sear engages the piston rod hook then you don't need to cock it further. In this way the safety will not engage and is ready to fire. HTH.

only draw back to auto saftey is in a hunting situation and a second quick shot is needed the saftey is going to go unthought of in the heat of the moment and could result in another missed attempt. i would like to convert to manual only.

If you are the only person using your B26 for hunting then you can forego of the safety and simply take it off. Put it back once you're done hunting. This procedure is not for everyone so be cautious if someone wants to borrow your gun and the safety is taken out. HTH

Hi Robert,
I brought this question up in June. You might want to read the thread, especially the last post by Mike Melick.

Shoot straight,

bummer on that. i guess in due time i will get used to it but someone needs to inform the chiness that the safty would normally push off to the left and if that were the case with this gun i would not have mentioned it for i could push it off from just holding it to my shoulder but pushing to the right requires the reach around fingers just not long enough.

sounds like a perfect setup for us lefties :) now you know how WE feel about your backward safties :)

I had to remove my safety as I somehow damaged it to where it won't click off after cocking. Don't really like it this way as the adjustment screw for the trigger pull works loos and the gun went off on cocking it 2 times on me. I gotta get with Mike and see how much to replace the whole trigger assembly.
