during my cfx project after removing the factory muzzle break there is blueing worn off and unfortunatly the new break just falls short of covering it up what can i do for just a small area without redoing the entire gun??

Cold blue.  Oxypho Blue paste from Brownell's is about the best.  Short of that, if it's small, you could try a Birchwood Casey touch up pen.  Either one isn't guaranteed to match, though.

Wonderblue paste from MidwayUsa is the only way I have ever been able to touch up a spot without redoing the whole barrel.

Here's a tip from J. B. Woods who wrote the excellent Gun Digest assembly/disassembly books. If you have a scratch or small spot, degrease the part, heat it under a lamp and then use a toothpick dipped sparing into cold blue to touch it up.
