Jeff

Just wanted to say these Predators are amazing in how devastatingly affective they've been. I'm sorry I doubted your claims of how good they are.

Got another Starling this morning (can't find camera), and the Trail is three for three. The Whisper has way more than that to it's credit, but it's the way these Predators work so well that  amazes me.  At roughly 200 fps faster, I thought the pellets would just blow through like some of the Jumbo's have, but it's what the Preds must be doing on the way through that makes all the differance.

The Starling was 20 yards away in front of my barn facing to the right. The Predator hit it  and passed through like the Starling wasn't even there. I heard the gun fire and the Pred smack the barn siding a split second later. My first thought was I missed and bounced it off the frozen ground into the barn ....then saw the Starling was down - another one with not a twitch.

I went out to move it out  back for my clean-up Crows and there were wing feathers sticking out of the entrance wound and a trail of feathers leading from the Starling toward the barn.  The Jumbo's rarly dropped them right where they stand with the first shot and even then, there was some twitching after.   With all three Pred shots, it's like the Starlings are dead before they hit the ground.

I wasn't before, but I'm a beliver now.

Paul.

Just got another Starling. The Trail is now four for four, and like the first three, dead when it hit the ground. It was facing to the right at the shot. The Pred broke the back wing as it exited.   No flyoffs, runners, rollers, twitchers, or "zombie" birds that get up minutes after being shot. Just DRT. Under the same conditions the Whiper would  have probably only dropped two of the four and rolled the other two only to have them most likely get up and fly off.

Found the camera. Went out to pix number three,  but my Crow buddies already had it for lunch, so here's pic of number four.

Great shooting Paul. Hmmmm, where do you live? I would like to come and take a few shots at those crows with my camera (Crossed Fingers). :)

I'll even promise to use my High Speed Film.

I never doubt a Predator pellet's ability to inflict damage hehe. Great shooting and pic bro. Ed

Glad those Preds are working out so nice for ya Paul  :)

Predators in a rifle with the power of the XL...... just doesn't get any better  :)

I may have to try those. I only hope they're accurate in my gun.

Excellent shooting at those Starlings. You/Trail/Predator combo is really smacking them hard.
