I am interested in knowing about anyone's experience with this airgun. It looks great, has a great warranty, and the 34's have a great reputation. I am close to buying but don't want to make a mistake. Thanks...

Well Mike you hit a happy note with me on the RWS 34's...:) I have two fantastic shooting RWS 34's. One is a newer RWS 34 Pro Compact which is the same power plant as the model you are asking about. My other one is a ealy 1980 version which I have completly moded for my style of shooting. Both ahve been equipeed with custom stocks by Timmy Merideth Custom Stock Maker. Both are extremly accurate with a wonderful cocking and shooting cycle. Here are a couple pics. You will not go wrong with buying one. Absolutly a great engineered air rifle that will last you forever.

(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif)Mike, BUY IT.........Seriously you will not regret ever buying that airgun. The Model 34 is one of those shooting platforms that " Bet you can't have just one" you won't. I had three, and regret selling my wood stocked Model 34 in .22cal about two years ago. Now I have two, one Model 34N .177cal,its in nickel and the other, the Model 34P .22cal aka Panther. Both top notch shooters........Bill(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cool.gif)

Gene, nice looking guns. Are they both the compact version of the 34 Pro (short barrel)? I like the looks of the scope and its mount. Very rugged looking! What are they and where could I find them, if you don't mind me asking? I appreciate your opinion and your help.

The one with the Cherry wood stock has had the barrel altered, re-crowned and polished. The Walnut is a new Compact Pro that has had my blessings...:)
