Looks like our friends at Gamo have adopted a few of BSA's tricks of the trade! For those whom are new and may not be aware... BSA moved all of their spring gun production to Gamo in Spain some time back(last two years?). Obviously these two parties are putting their heads together and crossing trade secrets. Does the shape of that stock look familiar to anyone?

That's because Gamo bought BSA.

Not a shrouded barrel. Won't go as well in the US considering its competition.

I've been out of the loop. Had no idea. Interesting concept. Does anyone know if BSA's PCP production is still in the hands of the English? If they were indeed bought out(which sounds like they have been) what are the long term affects of Gamos hands on BSA's production in the UK? The BSA PCP's are some fine rifles. I'd hate to see their PCP production quality falter...

Gamo has owned BSA since the 1980s. BSA PCP rifles are still made in the Birmingham U.K. factory (including this Gamo labeled rifle, I'm sure). BSA springers are assembled in the Gamo plant in Spain, although some of the components are still made in Birmingham.
The Gamo Dynamax is just a rehash of the BSA Sportsman HV.

It's one of the best looking "GAMO" rifles. It would lokk better if they would have included the shroud that the BSA branded rifles have. They left it off for some reason that's why there is the big gap between the barrel & the air tube. The cocking sequence`if a strike against it for me. I love the stock though.
