from the little I been messing with airguns IMO the Daisy Powerline 1000 is tops
like I said I'm no expert but it beats the B28 (tuned .22) hands down for accuracy
beats the Avenger 1100 (.22) for power
maybe not a nice to shoot as the Discovery(.22) but hangs with it for accuracy
I bought mine from a member on this forum which he tuned for IIRC $60.00 shipped with scope.
Its a .177 and IMO hard to beat for $60.00
I may sell everything else but the Daisy is a keeper...for me

Ronnie, I agree 100%. I have 2. One Powerline 1000S and one Winchester 1000WS. Home tuned both and MAN, are they powerhouse shooters and VERY accurate!!!! I finally got to shoot a little this weekend and the first chance I've had to fire my PL1K in a while. I forgot how much FUN this gun is and just how deadly it is. Both of mine are Hatsan products too.
Happy Shooting!!!!

Like Dave, I also have 2 of em,,, the powerline and the winchester and they are indeed deadly accurate and power houses, easily the most powerful .177's springers in my collection.... Crude yes,,,, but I agree they're one heck of a bang for the buck :)

Left is PL1000S. Equipped with factory Powerline 3-9x32 scope.
Right is Winchester 1000WS with new Leapers 4-16x50 IR AO Mil-Dot glass.
Both are sweet shooters and will kill anything in it's path. Both haveover 16fpe output with CPHP or CP Ultra Mags after home tune.

Super topic Ronnie!!! Like Jeff said,,,,crude,...but a stout shooting rifle with remarkable accuracy for its price range. But talk about power. In .177 cal it's a magnum lead slinger that actually comes close to its advertised velocity. Wanna see a squirrel do end over end summersaults?,.... Nail it in the head with a wad-cutter at 20!!! SLAP insert evil snicker ;) tjk

Two Hatsans buy a diffrent name...The left /black one is identical to my
Hatsan Mod 75...
Toss the trigger springs away and replace them with a bic ball point
pen spring....lighter trigger pull...
they tune real well...but need a whole new guide system..
mine is so smooth now...
Ps..I have the first trial guide system I made...If someone wants it..
just pay the shiping...

Last year I bought a refurb .177 cal Winchester 800 from sportsmansguide. IWith a $10 coupon and the sale price I paid something like $35 for the gun. Even though it was a refurb it looked brand spankin new and it shot just as nice,,, even the trigger was decent. Anyway, even though it's only rated at 800 fps that gun is shootin a lot harder than that and it absolutely rocks when it comes to power. That gun is kept in a padded case under the back seat of my truck along with a container of the JSB Exact Express pellets that it loves so it's always available to hunt :) I've killed many a starling at the duck farm with that rifle, some of em at considerable distances.... Like it's big brother the Winnie 1000 it's crude, but it's built like tank and is just as accurate and deadly as the 1000.

Jeff,
I may have to try one again. I shot a friend's Winnie 800 a couple time. Crude yes. Had about a 20# trigger and bucked like a bronco.

Yep Pete, both of my Hatsans are identical except the furniture and front sights. I've done the trigger mod on mine and like them a lot. I would like to try a new guide assembly, email sent to you about them.
