I have a B26 and I am having no luck.
-
Pred's, FTS, and CPHP's in that order. Ed
-
Beeman FTS, JSB Exacts, Predators. All shoot well. The JSB's and Predators are about the same weight as I recall, and have pretty much the same POI. The FTS pellets are a bit lighter.

thanks shadow, the crown the piston& breech seal are all good best crown I 've seen.I tried jsb exact, jsb sraton diablo, crosman desroyer, crosman pointed and gamo hunter.with no good groups at 20 yrds.also forgot to mention I have a 3-12-44 bsa airgun scope with 1 piece mount on her.I will try the ones yours likes and see what happens.thanks again.JOHN

The JSB's tend to have softer lead skirts -- accuracy improves if you make sure the skirts aren't dinged or bent and if you use a pellet seat tool to consistently seat the pellet in the breech. JSB's also tend to vary more in weight from pellet to pellet. The FTS seem to be a harder lead alloy with less fragile skirts and are much more consistent in weight.
In general, I have found that if I weigh the JSB pellets and sort them by weight, and then take care seat them carefully, they will out-shoot most other pellet types in any of my air rifles, but if you just load with your fingers straight out of the tin, the FTS are hard to beat for consistency.

RWS Superdomes, RWS Supermags, Gamo Match, CPHP's in this order.
-
My .177 b-20 has the best groups with the JSB's.
-
i found the jsb 8.4 , h&n field target trophy , rws superdomes .no other pellet would come even close to the three i mentioned in my particular gun but the h&n ftt did group the best of all.

The beeman cheaper brand that are the color of beige, black and blue 8.3grain cans of 250 count i pay at pyramyd air 2.69.Any of those u wont pay much and work great .Try them u wont be dissapointed and the price is excellent and the skirts on all where great which had me amazed for the price i expected cheap pellets but they actually worked great.....jorge

CPHP 7.9, CPP Domes 10.5s, (it really likes the 10.5s in both Benji and Crosman) but I shoot mostly the 7.2 Beeman Coated HPs you can get from K-Mart or Wally world. These will stack 3at a time at 30 yards. All these pellets actually strike the same vertical line out to 35 yards and the 10.5s are dead in the cross-hairs at 50 to 60 yards.
I tuned my B26, and polished the barrel with Brasso (didn't have JB or Flitz) and polished the crown too. I think these actions can make a gun shoot man different pellets with little to no adjustment. I just orderd 500 H&N 8.8 Crowmags and some H&N 8.64 FTt Domes, I bet it will do nice with these.

Mike...I bet the H&N FTT do very well , I have not found one gun( in my small arsenal ) that does not shoot them well.

I can't wait! This gun is such a hammer with everything I put in it that it's just a joy to shoot. I try to put a few pells through it every afternoon when I get home just to make sure it was really that good yesterday. Going to get some spacer materials from the hardware store to tighten up the cocking lever as I hate that rattle sound when it's cocked.

thanks guys for all the replies.3 of you mentioned FTS,JSB's were spoke of 3 times, and CPHP 3times also.2for RWS superdome.I know every gun is different.but this will give me a good starting point.I hate to just buy pellets blindly.thanks again everyone.

Keep this in mind my brother just went thru this on his b26 it would not group well at all untill he put about 500rnds thru it with any pellet now it is starting to group really well with cphp's .177cal I didn't have this problem with mine but also shoots the 7.9 an 10.5 cp's really well!
