: My new Marauder
: Uncle J April 06, 2010, 12:33:17 PM
Got my new Marauder today and all I can say is WOW. Shot two pigeons, and about 5 starlings. Sorry no pics I was to lazy to go pick them up, hoping the cats will carry them off. The Marauder hits everything I point it at. Using the 14.3 grain 500 count tin box crosman priemers and they are shooting great.

Nice, very nice!

It won't be very long before you can add me to the list of Marauder owners. Which scope and mounts did you go with?

Congrats Buddy. You will never be the same again.
Give us some 20 yard groups with it so we can see how she does and
the pellets she prefers.

I got mine today also. I have a Leapers scope on order so I put on an old scope I had laying around. This rifle is deadly accurate. You are right. Whatever you aim at you will hit. This thing rocks. I can't seem to get this smile off of my face. as Rick Flair would say, Woooooooooo!!!!!!!

congrats on your new gun.you have to get some polymags for your mrod i cant say enough about these pellets.in my marauder they groub better than any pellet ive shot out to 45 yards and they do quick work of anything ive taken with my gun.give them a try,i know they are a litttle pricey but worth every penny.cant wait to see more pics!!!

keith2324

What pellet are you using.

Right now I'm just using Crosman Premier Hollow Points. The scope I'm using is an old Simmons non AO 3-9X32 I had on my .22 rifle but I'm still getting nickel-sized groups at 30 yrds.

My friend is building a new home in which I told him I will help him roof it to save him some $. He has since told me that he will buy me a Mrod for my helping him. So I will also have one in a few months. I was also thinking about trying out some of those polymags, however I was unsure if they would fit into the mag.
Adrian, are you using the tray to shoot these or do they fit the mag?
Thanks, Wade

Nice looking new AR. What does that gun weigh with the scope and mounts?

The Polymags wont fit in the magazine but they can be "altered" by a gentleman on the Yellow forum! But I have loaded them up singularly without the magazine and they shoot great.

Keith, do you need the tray to load the polymags singly?
: Re: My new Marauder
: keith2324 April 12, 2010, 12:02:12 AM
You should use the tray, but I was just messing around seeing how they would shoot and I loaded them simply by hand; no tray or magazine.

This is for Uncle J. Here is the info I promised on my Marauder. 5 shots taken at 30yrds. Crosman Premier Dome pellets. Starting pressure was 3000 psi and still with all factory settings. The pics tell the rest. I can do this all day but I think you get the point. These guns are magnificent. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Keith,
Excellent shooting, mine will do the same. I'm using Crosman 14.3 Ultra Mags.

Thanks guys. I can't say enough good things about this rifle. But if enough people post pics of targets and not just kills, they will get a better understanding of what these rifles will really do. Awesome product Crosman. My hats off to ya.

I didn't mean to hi-jack your thread Uncle J. My apologies.

Keith.
: Re: My new Marauder
: Uncle J April 14, 2010, 11:06:24 AM
Glad you did, I like seeing targets and how well these rifles shoot. I punch more paper than critters so when I draw down on one I know I will hit it.

Very nice shooting Keith. I have been thinking of ordering the Leapers 3-12 swat scope and see you have the same one. How do you like yours?
: Re: My new Marauder
: keith2324 April 14, 2010, 01:42:02 PM
Wade I also have the 3-9 version on my B-28 and I have to tell you I love these scopes. The glass is super clear, the adjustable AO is very precise and the lock down turrets are a thing of beauty. Illumination is good and holds zero even on a magnum springer. You cant go wrong with these scopes. On the Marauder I have it mounted with Medium Accushot mounts and clearance isn't a problem even with the lens covers.

Sorry if I got a bit long winded but I like to give as much info as possible.

Keith.
