S1K, custom L/W short barrel.........:) This one was not as long as for the B-3.. I used same materials as for the B-3 and made it in three sections.. The muzzle brake on this one I drilled it on two sides. Six holes at an angle down each side. This one I did not tapper the back of the muzzle brake like I did on the B-3, where I tappered it to meet the front of the shroud..
It kinda looks blocky but has those exhaust holes that run down the sided.. hehe As I said before, whem my camera comes I will take some pics..:)

Well Bill, I have about 5 years experience and training on lathes, vertical mills, etc. when I was a youngster..:) Thats been over 40 years back.. hehe.... But I watch CDT using his lath for about a year and things started to come back to me..:) I have just had the lathe for one week now and it is like riding a bike, you never forget...:) I plan on getting a vertical mill and some more equipment in the near future so I can work on these air rifles. I totaly enjoy working with my hands and even though I have been a programmer for the last 16 years before I retired, does not mean I can still work with tools..:)
CDT and myself get along very well and we are like a couple kids when we get together.. We share alot in common as far as the mechanics n stuff. So it is easy for me to relate with CDT and vise versa.. I do have alot to learn and CDT has been so generous with helping me along. He is one heck of a friend..:)
So dats it Bill...:)

Hay Gene,
I suspected so Gene, I only know a little about lathe and mill work, but no cherry can start turnin just like that. ;)
I had a fellow teach me the ropes years ago in our maintenance dept., he was a top notch tool and die maker, his shop folded and he came to us, and like you and Bob, was a real great guy too.
What do you Have in mind for your next project, or you going to supprise us all ????
