Well, actually no trigger pulling yet, but next week! After being solely into rimfire benchrest for a while and selling off my FWB,Izzy, etc I decided to get back into AG and acquired a Benji NP in 22 cal to do mostly paper punching and occasional pest duty. The NP actually produced some nice groups (20 yds) and is more than capable of pest control. However, I realized that being able to spend some quality time in my back yard was as much fun as traveling to my benchrest 22 rimfire matches with a lot less hassle. So, I started looking at acquiring a higher end springer, and read many glowing reviews of the FX 200, Pro Sport. A few by Gene who does know his beans. Gene recommended getting both the 200 and the PS, but since I haven't completely lost my mind (yet) I had to choose, and my PS (.177)is on the way. Regards

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to use a Pro Sport .177 that my friend recovered as a loaner. He asked me to scope it with his Simmons 4-12x40. I polished up the stock for him while I was at it too. Not only is this a nice looking AG but it feels good at the shoulder. I sighted it in at 8 yards and stacked no less than 15 shots. Then took it out to 25 yards, stacked 10 missed 10 by 1/8 inch (maybe less). Took it out to 35 yards stacked 10 again then a nutter appeared right next to the target. Eye to eye shot. In 4 days I shot about 500 rounds through this gun and it never needed an adjustment or anything other than cock lock and fire. I ran it through his Chrony and it was consistently 904 to 910fps.
If I had the money for such a thing I would have one in .177 and would shoot it every day.

Congratulation Jim, I sure hope you will not be disapointed. Out of all the folks I know including myself, who own the PS, not one is unhappy. Tommy Cupples aka " TCups " was over here this afternoon on the way up to his cabin in NC. He brought three air rifles. His left handed PS .22, Air Arms ERB .22 and his CZ... He shot his PS most of the time.. Ed is a lefty as well and enjoyed shooting it as well. Ed could not miss with it...:) He was hitting the bullls on the quad target consistantly at 35 yards.. I miight add that Tommy's PS is one of only six ever made left handed walnut stocks..:) for the PS. Even though Tommy is wrong handed the wrong hande PS shot fantastic...:)

Mike, sounds like you had a great time, I hope that you decide to "spring" for one. Being retired I now have the time to shoot, and once you get past the $$$ for good equipment shooting air guns is actually not that bad as opposed to many other hobbies.
Gene, I did go for the walnut stock. I hope that it has some nice figure as I love a good blue metal/wood combo. Regards
