I noticed that RWS has a shooters kit which contains 1/2 ounce RWS chamber lube and 1 ounce RWS spring cylinder oil. This leads me to believe that RWS guns need to be lubed as the name of the lubricants imply. Would like to know your knowledge and experience with these RWS products.

Those lubes are for the old leather seal versions. Do not use them on any new RWS or you will be talking to a tuner real soon...:)

Thanks Gene for the heads up on the RWS lubes. I figured they were for the older gun seals, but still the lubes in the kit will tease a new air gunner.

We have allot of posts concerning oils and lube for RWS air guns. Most of us catch these question before the new air gunners ruin there guns. Glad you asked first...:) We urge new air gunners to ask questions on the GTA even if you may think they are dumb. We all ask the same questions when we started playing with our guns..:)

Wow glad I read this! I bought that kit mainly for the cleaning rod and pellets. The lube says every 750 to 1000 shots. Good thing I haven't used I in any new guns. Put some in my daisy 120 that I've had about 17 yrs and well over 1000 rounds. Didnt change much. Thanks for the info.
