A .177 Crosman Storm XT springer that is heh heh.
A couple of firsts....Storm's first critter and this year's first critter. Never did use the Storm to shoot at varmint because it was always abit too loud. But since the spring broke a few months ago....and I put in a weaker spring which equals less noise I thought I would use her.
Have to admit....I did shot at about 6 Starlings over the last 2 days and missed with her...but this time she connected. It looks like a head-shot....lot's of blood...and you can see from the photo...blood coming out of it's eye.
42 yard shot from 2nd story window and using a cheapy .177 Crosman Wadcutter.

Hey everyone....thanks for the kind comments. Yep...starting the varmint control north of the border.... Been giving them a 2 week break since they came back.
Just got this one this morning....a 47.5 yard shot (Checked with a rangefinder). Shot from 2nd story window also. The first one`s left wing twitched 3 times and that was it (Head-shot). This one was a body-shot and the Starling flapped it`s wings 4 times on the grass and it was lights out. Only it rained hard last night so even the porch was wet so I took the close-up photo indoors.
ADDED: De-feathered this one yesterday.....and definitely it's a female....there were two egg yokes in her gut!!! So it was a 1 shot 3 kill sort of thing......
