: Crosman Premiers Price? Why???
: ShadowShot April 16, 2010, 07:40:02 AM

I was looking at the .22 Premiers at Pyramyd air. The price per pellet is double between the ones in the tin and the ones in the box. What is the difference to be worth double? The price per pellet in the tin is .018 each whereas the price per pellet in the box is higher at .036

The boxes are from the same die. If one shoots good, the other should follow. The tins are made up of mixed die lots. Or so I've read.

i have shot both out of my marauder in .22 and i honestly had better groups with the boxed ones but not so much better that ill pay double again.and even though i shot ok with them they still have fliers in the box.

i think the only way to not get fliers with any of crosman pellets is to weigh them and inspect the skirts.pain in the %$# yes but i think its the only way with this brand ammo

HnN and predator polymags are the only brands of ammo ive found to not have fliers and you can see how good these pellets are made.
