Oh man... I did the same thing back in April 2002, same Brand and Model bike. Just looks different...The wife said the same EXACT thing whenI told her "But hun, I need a reliable bike to get to back & fourth to work."  . She was mad because I had just gotten over being layed off and had 16 different bikes in the front yard. Some were mine (buy, refurbish, sell) and others were customers bikes that took them to me for service, valve adjustments and the like.


She changed her mind when she rode with me the first few times.
She was MAD though...hahaha I still bring it up once and a while!

Ed,..that is funny but so true. I can really relate to that one. My ex said to me one day, hunny....you have to do something about the groundhogs eating my garden up...do whatever you have to do to get rid of them.  So I bought an airgun. I'm divorced now  :p

 8) But there are no more groundhogs around :p hehe

I guess I am pretty fortunate in that department...if all the bills are paid and we have food hehe I can do whatever I want with the money I actually make but then again I am not married any more and wont ever be hehe although I think it is a great institution but once burned twice shy!! My current G/F going on 6 years is pretty decent about my toys hehe.... hmm another year and common law takes effect huh? ROFLMAO!!!
