After you type your description, check the square that reads "attach a file after posting" and hit submit.  You will then be directed to upload your pictures (should be 100 KB or less) through the "browse" button.  Next you "review" the pictures and make sure all are good before you click something like "go back to thread" which is underlined.  Good luck...Sam

I went into the "control panel" (settings) page and turned on the rich text editor option. Then to post a pic you click on the picture icon (looks like a tree) next to the anchor icon and just put the url into the dialog box that comes up. I prefer this way to the "attach file after posting" method.

btw I posted your pics for you on the classifieds thread. (I'm interested in the guns but just can't buy, so I decided to do you a favor. Might not have done it if I'd noticed this thread first though lol)

: oh yeah..

oh, and by going through the rich text editor you're not constrained by the 100kB limit and can put the pics wherever in the post you want.

On NotWerk54 the html tags are added automatically. Here you need to use HTML tags to get the picture to show. The HTML string  to make the picture appear should look like this

 (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v375/arathol/_IGP1245.jpg) (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v375/arathol/?action=view¤t=_IGP1245.jpg)

which is this picture

The file size depends on your computer. At work they have to be less than 75 mb at home less then 150. DOnt kmow why the difference. I open them with picture editor at home and resize them. then submit. work changes daily. Government computers are crap and dont work the same way twice!

If you use photobucket, if you post both the url link and a img link one after the other the picture shows up on here. Don't ask me why but it does.

I see you decided to use your new skill over in the classifieds (http://thread-view.asp?tid=27302&mid=215946#M215946)  today, so I guess I don't need to follow up and ask if you got it figured out (http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif)

here is a freeware program that reduces the size of pics  takes a few mins to figure it out  but it works well.     http://www.irfanview.com/
