: Depinger for Evanix Blizzard
: Zzyzx April 20, 2010, 10:48:51 AM
In reading and looking at YouTube videos I see some putting plastic hose sections in the air tube to use as a depinger. Looks as if it works. Is it any better or worse than the custom made models you buy from other folks?

Wouldn't the plastic hose slide up or down the tube with shooting or filling? Any possibility of it moving about and blocking something in the tube and causing problems?

A piece of rubber hose or plastic tubing does the job fine.
You can make one for nothing.
I used a piece of scrap hose.

All it does is act llike a dampener and keep the tube from ringing.

There isn't anything to block, it takes up a little space, so it holds a little less air.
Are you done yet?

Yer can buy de-pingers for almost any gun..?

I put 2  29mm x 19mm x 8 oil seals in the tube of my Career
They were a perfect tap in fit...And they desplace very little volume.
Just take the spring off the inside sealing surface..
