Well It may not be, but I am sure she is close.
I got this from DAQ, with the intentions of modding it to a serious Hand-Cannon.
In the white, 19" .495
I think a 650gr bullet in the 600+fps range would do for close range on just about anything.

what does such an animal cost if you don't mind me asking?and it's beautiful by the way.
-
It is more a matter of getting to an airgun show and meeting Mr Q in person than the cost.
My first DAQ took over 5 years to get. The supply is so low for the demand that they typically sell for over $1000 used.
I had been talking with Dennis about this one since the LASSO shoot last year. It made the 48hour drive worth it.
I sometimes have friends needing cash for their DAQs, If interested, let me know and I will let you know if I hear of one.
But if interested, you will need funds ready, as they typically sell in a few hours from being listed.
Cheers, david.

Dang! Will that thing do 600 fps with the slug? Best have a good hold or you will hurt your wrist.
-
Your talking 519fpe here. Ouch.
-
That's a VERY heavy slug, even for a black powder rifle. I should imagine the trajectory will be on the loopy side, if not short. Personally, I would go for a much lighter, though still heavy bullet. Sometimes you can go too much in that direction and reverse any gains.

Yes, I know that the bullet is huge, that is the point.
Why not, If I can get that kind of energy out of it, then It will certainly do a hurtin on the shooter and the target.
My other .50 pistol, with the short barrel likes the big bullets more than the light ones.
It would shoot a 458gr bullet not much slower than a round ball for almost twice the energy.
600fpe will penetrate just about anything made of jello. I have an 883gr HP. bullet in .700cal I only got 340 fps out of it and destroyed a 6x6 post, the massive bullet did not even go completely in the post, but the back of the 6x6 had a 2x8inch hole in it. When a huge bullet stops inside and object, the energy transfer is huge, and fun to see your target knocked off it's feet, LOL.
I will also test other bullets, but am keen to get the 650 launched.
