OK Ray, let me try to explain. I can see where it can be confusing..;) Crosman NPSS and Remington NPSS come in either .177 or .22.... The new Benji Trail NP comes only in a .22 The new Benji Trail XL comes both the .177and.22.
Ok now the Crosman NPSS is now made under the name of Remongtion NPSS.
The Benji Trail NP is basically the same size air gun as the NPSS series. Just has a fancy wood stock.
The Benji Trail XL is what we call a MAGNUM air gun with a fancy stock. Very heavy gun..
I will not go into the interal structure differences because I have already done reviews on that.

Thanks Gene.
Is the Crosman NPSS still made by Crosman? Just made for Remington?
Is the Trail NP good enough for squirrels, crows and such?
THanks
Ray

The Trail NP is plenty for nutters Ray and also for Bandit's. If you browse down through the hunting post you will find mine from S.C where I took some Grays at Gene's and back here in MI. my NP already has a Fox nutter and a Bandit under her belt. Ed

I was told that Crosman makes Remington's pellet rifles. They are the same rifle. I have a Remington NPSS .22.
-
Yes Tom, Crosman does make the Remington NPSS. They stopped selling it under the Crosman name. Same gun as Crosman NPSS.

You bet Ray. Shadow was poppin the nutters easy with it out to 30 yards.

My partner took a shot at a nutter while I ranged it @ 65 yards, smoked it right in the back of the head.
I was surprised what a punch it has that far out.Very Happy even though I did not take the shot.

Popping those nutters down at Gene's hehe, the Trail NP love's the nutters. :) Ed
