Went and looked at a used Walther lever action tonight. A guy had it up for sale in my neighborhood. He was asking $ 275 w/ scope and case. It was in really good shape.
First I lowballed him w/ $ 100 bid..... hehe. He said the gun cost him $ 450. I pointed out PA offered them for$ 335 after the discount. I then offered him $ 150, he countered me w/ $ 175, and he wouldn't come down.
When I shot the gun I felt air hit my hand while holding the forearm. I thought there may have been a leak of some sort. Does anyone have any experience w/ the lever action guns?
Is it worth 175 ?
Thanks

I have one and it seems a fair price for it with a mount and scope too:) . I have not noticed air coming out on forearm.. I will check it tonight when I get home you have me curious now? there is some air comes out near the breach more noise than air tho. Mine is a fun gun and incredibly accurate, choked LW barrel helps alot I think they are a quality made gun and feel good to shoot. One trick is Wadcutters work best by far and I use a Phillips bit to seat them in the magazine all the same depth. The magazines fit multiple guns and are some type of alloy which IMO is a silly choice of material because the little drive lugs wear off and I have to buy new ones, they are only 14$ for 3 at PA so no big deal I guess!

Hello Eric,
In the Blue Book of AirGuns 7th. Edition, This air rifle shows:
At 100% - $350., 95% - $285., 90% - $225., no values below 90% are listed.
You didn't mention the make of the scope, it looks as if it might be a Leupold with the Gold Ring? Add the value of the scope and mount to your offer.
It sounds like a good deal to me, if that's not a leak, and even then, not a bad deal !
I hope this helps you !

Ask on the Crosman forum. Is the forearm where the cartridge goes?

Thanks for replying guys.
Bill, no it's a Walther scope, they offer it with the rifle.
Refeather, yes, it's right where the mag comes out on the side.
It was fun to shoot. I just might buy it...gotta love this hobby.
Thanks again
