While mowing the yard today I noticed several grackles at the feeder so I shut the mower off went in and grabbed the 78 and set it on the shooting bench which is 25 yds from the feeder.Not long after I started mowing again they were back at the feeder so I drove up the bench got off the mower and shot the first one.They continued to come back the entire time I was mowing and as long as I left the mower running they stayed at the feeder but if I shut it off they would fly away.I ended up getting 6 of them before I finished mowing.

Man you got to  mow the lawn and shoot things. Thats a great day. Almost makes me want to mount a turret on the mower! Hell Yeah! Get one of those auto tracking turrets that was in the other strand. Oh man that could get outa control quick.

Nice shooting with your QB 78.  Those poor birds heard the mower going and thought you were still mowing.....they were wrong!!!!....You were aiming.  heh heh

Who knew - a lawn mower bird call ???  Mine just seems to attract weeds !!! :D
