I bought it off Jock Elliott. It's the one GAMO sent him to write his review with.
It's a "made in England" version.
It's only had a hand full of pellets through it and still has most of the GAMO grease on it.
It sure looks sweet next to the 1250 :D
I'll post a pic as soon as I get it degreased.

Looks real sweet Roald.... I kinda like the shroud or is it a brake?...:)
Gene
-
I second that,,, looks sweet :)
Jeff

Thanks Gene,
it's a full length shroud, kinda cheesy the way it's made, but it feels nice when cocking the gun.
Now I can send the 1250 off to Rich and have it converted to .20 my first venture to beyond .177 :)
-
Ya, I am thinking of putting a 1 foot extension on my Gamo 1250 .22 Royal to make it easier to cock.. hehe

That's a nice baby Roald, hope you'll do a reveiw on her too. 8) Ed

Very Nice Roald,
And I second that motion on a review, cause I love the looks of that rifle ! Looks BAD !!8)
Good luck with your new baby Roald, and good shootin too. :)

Wow very sharp man. I am thinking that in the middle of May... hmm like the 19th, that we should have another shootout and cookout at my place. You can give a yay or nay any time to let me know if you want to or not.

Heck why not bumper winch Gene? I got a chance to shoot Roalds 1250 last weekend, and it sure is a sweet gun, but with my shoulder the way it is I only got a few shots before I gave it back to it's strong shouldered owner:)
My BSA Supersport carbine with gas ram will be here on Monday, yippie!!!

Same powerplant as the 1250 Roald? Just curious if you can put the same tune kit in it. Should be another sweet shooter!

Nice looking gun. Is the shroud and checkering standard?

John, the 19th sounds great to me... Dan, how about you?
I'll fetch this "thang" along for us to play with..... so thats a Yay!
Thanks John. :)
-
Yup same gun Dan... the wood on this ones stock is better though, a bit more solid
causing a better sound when fired. I'll run it up to the 4x4 track tomorrow and put
a few through it.
-
Thanks Ric, yes it's all standard on this version. It comes with a raised scope rail
as well, but the mounting bolts were stripped (due to bad design) anyhow I should be
getting a replacement from GAMO, in the mean time I'll just use the high mounts.
-
Yes... and we all fully expect to see a BSA Supersport post on here with pics :)
-
Ya Dano, I have been reading you guys posts about the RWS 350 and Gamo 1250...:) My shoulder started to ache a bit when I read those posts.. hehe... I never had a problem hitting what I would shoot at with the 1250, but like you my shoulder can't take that cocking to many times..:) So I just shoot it once or twice a month to keep everything working.. I now have a 3 foot breaker bar I use to cock it now...:) lol
I am sure glad that you got to shoot those big fellows.. And you guys would keep me laughing and I could never get off a good shot... lol
What will John use next time for a gun rest?
