For a second day in a row I was able to stop by the dairy on the way home. For awhile I was on a roll with the Yellow Headed black birds. The first 3 birds I took were Yellow heads, and for the first half of the hunt I passed on other types and females, holding out for only males. I was hoping to finish the day with an even dozen yellow heads but I ended up giving in and taking a few other shots. I did loose one yellow head, I rolled him off the feeder and he hopped away before I could get a second shot on him. The wind was a big factor again today and I missed as many shots as I connected on. I'm not really a numbers guy but just for fun I wish I would have kept count of how many birds I've taken off the dairy so far this year.

Nice haul Dave.
One of these you'll have to swing by and pick me up on your way out to the dairy.

Great job for an after-work outing, even with the wind. And it's still not to late to keep tabs for the year. I would just post them with the starting date from today.
