Finally after a week or more of constant rain, yesterday I menaged to escape few hours to my blind waiting for some crows.(it's a week I'm baitingthemto get them used to the food, but it seemed seagulls got used sooner but this is another thread,he,he,he...).As I was there no crows in sight but a lot of these buggers, usually I leave them but my snapping turtle was sooooo hungry I had to put them to sleep. The smaller one explodedat the impact of the .22 pellet, shooting those sparrows at 40/50 yards proove me the accuracy of my trusty S400,despite I'm still using cheap Gamo pellets.

@ leadslinger22,yes I did it on both my Gamos but I switched the scope 'cos I can't shoot anymore without MilDot reticle.

I'm quite sure I'll camo up my S400 this week,I can't help myself,a camo rifle looks always better! (http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cool.gif)

If you like it my wayI did a small tutorial here and in another airgun forum.

Great shooting!  Man snapping turtles give me the heebie jeebies.

On the subject of crows, I've been messing around with an electronic caller and it works GREAT!  There are two really good sounds you can play in a sequence one is an "announcement" sound and the other is a "crow distress". They will also come to just about any predator distress call too.
