I just got my trail np (not xl) and also Leapers 3-12x44 scope. I have ran over 100 JSB match pellets and some crosman wadcutters through this and I can't seem to get the scope to go up high enough. I have put the centerpoint scope that came with the rifle and managed to get that zero'd in pretty close. What am I doing wrong with the Leapers?

Could be a bad Leapers scope.

If you haven't already...try this

Look the scope rings  over...Is the rear scope ring riding a little higher?  Put a mark on  your rings, differentiating  the front from the rear and remove from the scope and switch them (front to rear etc.).  Also, while the rings are off of the rifle look at the base is there a burr or something that is causing the rings not to ride level?

I have the same rifle & I put the leapers 3-9x44 & it works fine.
Also check the mounting rail for out of alignment.

I believe the rail should be straight since it sighted in the centerpoint scope. I have tried flipping the rings around but that did not help any. I guess I could try my spare set of rings on it.

Sometimes, you just get a bad scope.
