Okay, I am looking at a sling stud mount bipod, the question is do I have enough "meat" in the stock just behind the notch to do so? I have seen similar set ups for the syn stocks. I am a little leary of screwing into my stock. Also it looks like some have cut the bipod in half and mounted the halves to the sides of the stock. Or do I just abandon the idea and get used to the stick, but if in a prone position that is a little difficult. Another option is to look for a syn stock for the Benji. Ideas or suggestions?

There's alway the risk of spliting out the wood in such a thin area as the front end of the foregrip.
However, one solution may be to find out if anyone is making a synthetic stock for the Super Streak by now ? It looks to be the same as the Trail stock ... except maybe the Trail stock has a wider cutout for the front sling mount.

they make some that connect to the barrel maybe one like that could go on your gun

This what i use for all my airrifles and crossbow,go to Cabelas and in search box type in this item # OG-228254. This is a light wt. adjustable from 17" to 40" bipod ,no good for prone but excellent for sitting on ground or chair in a blind. Has slots for fastning to gun foearm,i don,t use that,i just hold it with my hand for very steady shooting.

Some thoughts.
The Trail barrels are fully shrouded, will the clamp-on type bipods fit that much larger diameter?
The Trail XL needs 130 degrees of barrel swing to cock it. A bipod is going to make that interesting.
What will a bipod do to a gun that can be very picky about hold ?
The gun is almost 10-1/2 pounds with the scope and sling, would you need a bipod enough to offset adding more weight to a heavy gun ?
