Reason I ask is I have my 44th birthday coming up and the wife has asked me what I want.
Well, I have 2 Benjamin Discoveries and 3 Crosman 1377's in different modified forms.
I'm thinking either a gas ram springer or maybe a Co2 action pistol like the Walther C99 custom.
I need other ideas cause frankly, I've looked at all the airgun dealer websites until I'm crosseyed!!!!!!
Thanks
Ray

How about a Benjamin Trail NP laminated wood or a BAM B40 airgun. :)
-
After learing the differences, a Benji Trail NP XL. (http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif)
Happy Shooting....and shopping!!!!

Depends on what your doing with it.
Targets and small pests I'd go with one of the rws 34 pro models.
For whacking big pest and less targets I'd go with the trail npxl in 22. Man I am waiting for that one to come out in the laminated blue stock. Wouldent hesitate if they had it like that now.

I bought a tuned Cometa Fusion Star from Gene for $270, so if I had $300, that would be $270 of it and the other $30 would be pellets. While not everyone can be that lucky, I think I'd take 2 guns...A Cometa Fenix/RWS94 for under $150 AND a TF89 for under $150. OR I would take either of those and have it tuned. That's a few good options!
-
I would take the money and go on vacation lol!!! Oh not what we were talking about. Hmmm... Remington NPSS just and over all decent gun and its gas rammed already.
-
I would add a few dollars and by the Cometa Compact Carbine .177.....:)
-
The $200 RWS Panther Pro from Airguns of Arizona and a bunch of pellets.
-
I've got to say that I'm hooked on the looks of the Cometa air guns! Whether they shoot well or not I'm not sure, but they just look great!
For $300 I'd side with thebookdoc and get two guns. :P A TF 89 is a nice gun for the money. I want another one in .177 though I have no real "need" for one. LOL I said "need" :D
-
Easy , I'd buy a springer .....RWS 34 or a B26 and scope the rest.
-
Baikal Drozd for a fun gun, although it get's quite serious if you tune it up a bit (1200rpm, full auto, 800+ fps).
-
I think I'd spend it on a new MM tuned B-40 and a matching scope,,,,, especially since Mike says the B-40 are in very low supply and might not be available soon..... as we know it's a super target gun but you can also hunt with it if you don't mind the weight. I've been thinking of ordering one in .22 just to have......

I think I would choose a Diana rws34 and a scope if I didnt already have one:) the MM tuned b-40 is another good chioce as suggested above.
-
wow i had the same in my mind which i have already b40.22 or a cometa fenix 400.22 or a fusion .22 i have the first two and they are great shooters i cant xcomplain at all so for 300.00 $$ u can get a very decent airrifle .honestly i never spend anymore than 300.00 for any airrifle and i have some decent airrifles with tunes ,thats why the classifieds are available, trades and buying in that section could save you plenty and most members will sell u good ones. The only airrifle i would buy new and spend the money for it would be the rainstorm.22 which me and Gene have in mind since we first saw them.Good Luck on your purchase and i know u will make the right choice ray1377..God Bless Us All...jorge

After looking at the AofA site once again another RWS suggestion. The Model 52 is under $300. The same side cock action as the model 48 and they are very nice shooters. The Model 48 we have is from the 80's and had a Turbo Tune a couple of years ago. Shoots great now and took a lot of birds and pests during the years before the tune.

Compasseco get you a tf89 for 123.00 then go to natchez and do a bsa 3x12x44 scope for 49.00 then a one piece mount from pyramid air for 14.95 and all the pellets u need at airgundepot lol

Baikal Drozd Blackbird hands down if you are considering a CO2 fun gun. These guns are a Russian engineering gem. 1, 3, or 6 round bursts. 400 round electronic feed magazine. And plenty of mods to increase performance.
I have the 1200 rpm FULL-AUTO mod and 15inch rifled hardened steel barrel. Very accurate for a bb gun. This thing ROCKS!

Mine is shooting lead balls at 740fps, when you combine that with burst capability we are getting into shotgun territory 8)

well id get another P1 in .22 or .20 since i have a .177 now and it is deadly
-
I agree with jeff the b40 is in short supply might have to pick one up luckily I have howies lol and it one sweet shooter if not the b40 then like I said earlier the tf89 is hard to beat of airgundepot has the rws350 cheap and under 300 bucks with free ship

The CP99 is a revolver in the shell of an automatic.
SA trigger is nice.
But the DA trigger is heavy and long, not my idea of a nice trigger to shoot for fun.
-
How about low power plinkers.
- Daisy 953
- IZH60/61
- Gamo Delta or Recon
Or a target rifle
- in the QB78 family, the AR2078A

i have a slightly used walther nighthawk - it's a cp99 w/ case, extra clip, red dot, side light, and mount. it's GREAT fun. i'll sell it to you for $100. i have lots of other stuff - here check for yourself - http://raneair.webs.com - that's my website. i have a tuned new version walther talon magnum that shoots nearly 30 ftlbs if you want power - $200. i have one brand new .177 xocet left - $210. ......why not get everything you want for your $300 ??? - paul.
