Well fella's My brother RB shoots and I was out on patrol where we do a little shootin and we ran across one of the whistle pigs in our spot that we hunt and we ran across this little beautie about 85yds so I got myself into position and took a shot with 4 mildot on my leapers 6x24X50 scope mounted on my .22cal M-Rod that is stock and ave's 854fpe w/Crosman copper heads and my gun loves them, puts them in one hole at 30yds and I missed and the hog almost took off but then it stood straight up I couldn't believe it so I took aim again 4 dots on the head and Boom baby it was over he droped like a rock! I didn't get a pass thru but hey dead is dead

Mark, Nice shot and that is a nice looking gun. Seeing pics of your gun makes me hope mine gets here quick. I've never heard them called whistle pigs before.......

Congrats on the 85yd shot with the Mrod! That is a feat dropping a G-hog at 85yds with an airgun. Not easy to do. Hek it's not easy dropping anything at 85yds with an airgun.. Congrats!
G-hog/whistle ping/woodchck is my favorite quarry :)
