Some starlings came into a few chicken bones i tossed under a tree by my feeder at 25 yards all of them spooked quick but this juvi stayed a tad to long never will he se his sophmore year . I also tossed into the pic my new rosewood handle buck knife $65 with leather case real smooth. Fum week with the carbine lots of pests bit it for a quick cheap meal (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v734/TheKnot/DSC02249.jpg) (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v734/TheKnot/?action=view¤t=DSC02249.jpg)

Nice shooting. They all seem to be a little more fun when you have baited them in.

Nice shot Chris. I am surprised the Starlings are still going after chicken during the warm months. They used to go crazy over the chicken and turkey bones over the winter. I don't know what has happened to all the Starlings around me. Maybe because I wiped out 1 and a half to 1 and 3/4 flocks over the winter. So far this spring I have only seen 2 birds which were hanging out together on my lawn but took off when I put the window up. I think the rest won't come near my property after shooting them all winter long :)
