So yesterday I was out in the garage shooting, umm...doing chores, and every time my wife came out I had to lean the rifle up against something and pretend I was slaving away. LOL

I almost had a heart attack when the TX slipped and almost fell on the cold hard cement!!! I was thinking I need to build a rifle rack in the garage so I can leave a rifle handy for shooting between chores. Then a thought occured to me. I recently bought a new guitar for my daughter and at the store they had these nifty guitar hangers. What's really nice is that the weight of the guitar/rifle forces the arms to rotate inwards thus securing the rifle in place. No chance of it falling off the hook. Pictures tell the story...

The Hammerli weights 9 pounds so it seems plenty sturdy. I do believe the hanger was about $10. Coincidentally someone that works for my wife has a side business that makes custom guitar hands. His don't have the locking mechanism but they are pretty cool. I might get him to make an 'airgunner' special hand.

that is super cool!!! looks like it would make a cool wall hanger for about any firearm to be honest... would be a great way for those out in the country to keep that shotty next to the back door too!!!
