As my eyes get older, I find I need more magnification to see the 17 HMR holes. Maybe the Celestron C-8 is the answer.

PS: Gene - the server is up to its old tricks again. Can't attach photos in the usual way.

It's not too big... but it is far too orange.

If that don't work out for ya Tommy,

Tommy, Thats one of the best ideas I have seen in along time?:) I notice the CZ heavy barrel, I gues that covers any droop issues... do you use it with a shootin stick or just of the bench? Tony.
-
Astronomical tripod with sidereal clock drive!
-
Absolutely NOT, - the gun is too small.
-
Tommy, let me know how it works, cause I have yet to find a scope big enough that I could see the holes I make at 30 yards...:)
-
No that's just right to see the fleas on a critter at a mile or more hehe. Ed
-
Nah, scope's not too big, but WHERE did you get such a tiny gun????? (http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif)

That set-up's missing a tripod....a very strong sturdy one. A golf cart will come in handy to lug it around too.
-
What reticle does that have? Mil-dot, fine target dot, or maybe a German post?
-
Awesome - the flip-up cover, once installed, could provide shade for several shooters.
