This is my first post on here and I would just like to say Hello. Some of you may already know me from some of the other forums as I recognise a few of you. I currently own a few airguns of which my first was a chinese pistol that only works occasionally ( one in three cocks will fire). My next was a birthday present from my wife which was a CFX in 177 June last year which is when I got addicted. Next was a Shadow and an early Cadet. A couple Crosman pistols and then it took off. I still have those but have added 2 FX Typhoons, 2 Wiehrach HW40's, 2 Crosman2250's and a 2240. I still go back to my Gamo's for technique practice as they are the best for that. Master the springer and you'll master the PCP. Hopefully when I figure out how to post pictures I'll be able to show you guys my small collection. Oh I nearly forgot about my Gamo match pistol. I have one of them aswell.

Hi Andre, A big Welcome to the GTA...:) Was wondering when you were gonna get around to coming over here...hehe Hey it is easy to post here.. You can post in the threads and we have a Album section you will find at top right of each page that you can post pictures of your herd..:) When you are done writing your post and just before you hit the submit button, just look right above the Submit button and you will see "Attach a file after posting" check the box to the left and hit Submit button and it will then let you post your pics..:)
The GTA has Moderators for all the Forums and feel free to ask them any questions about setting up the style of viewing these pages.. You have many viewing options available..
Again welcome and we all hope to see you posting and contributing to the GTA often..:)
I think you will find that the GTA is a little different than most AG Forums.. We are a tight family here and we all joke and banter with each other allot.. :)

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I am a natural hunter and started with my slingshot when I was 8 or 9. Back then I focused on birds. Now that I have more fire power I focus on the Australian Possum which is an introduced pest here. We pluck the fur and sell it for $90nz per kilogram. I use the cash to fund my purchases. Other targeted species are Cottontails, Hares, Myna Birds, Magpies, Turkeys and rats.
I tried the attachment option with my first post and it wouln't accept the file size. I'm very new to computers and haven't quite figured out how to make pictures smaller. Do you guys use picture hosting sites like photobucket? Then I could just copy and paste the url. Thats the way I know from other forums.
-
Andre, you can use photobucket as well..:) Just throw up the link to your pics on your next post and we can all have a look... and probably drewel over you stable of airguns... hehe

Its amazing what you can accomplish with a standard stock, Dremmel, some Walnut stain and stock oil. I am very happy with the way it turned out. The stain and oil process took the longest to do. Shaping and dimpling only took a few hours. I'm glad you like it. l
