Hello All...
Does anyone have any ( hands - on ) first hand experience with the new Webley & Scott " Patriot " rifle. All the information I have is what I have read. Thanks...

The Patriot has been around for quite a while now, so it's not exactly "new" . What kind of information are you looking for? I have one in .25 cal, and there are a lot of folks that frequent these forums that have them in other calibers. Bound to be someone to answer any specific questions you might have.

Hello...
I thought the rifle in .177 cal. was fairly new. I was wanting to know about the weight and length and how the rifle handles over - all. Where is the best place to buy one? Thanks for the information.

First of all you can't buy a new one since Webley is no longer making air rifles. Check used gun lists, they come up a lot. Its the same rifle as the Beeman Kodiak.
The Patriot is about 47 inches long, maybe 8 pounds, and kicks hard. Webley rifles are usually very accurate and the Patriot is no exception. Its not an easy gun to shoot accurately without practice though. Cocking effort is pretty high, near 50 pounds. Trigger is nice, overall quality is better than most. It was available in .177, but that caliber is really to light for the power level of this rifle. .22 is better, but the .25 Patriot is best. The .25 shoots 21 gr pellets at 820+ and can generate 32 FPE with heavy pellets.
