YAY.. another one on the road. You will fall inlove with that gun!

Good for you John, best of luck with the new shooter. I've been lookin at them myself for awhile now, I may just do the same thing you did.

My Tuned QB78 from Mike of (Flying Dragon Air rifles) is so smooth and hit's hard. I chronied it yesterday, 798-800fps :D I'm a happy hunter. I got to get used to the NO RECOIL hehehe. Ed

What'd you get .177 or .22 ? kirby
-
I got the .177 Kirby since that is what all my shooters are. I know I can switch to .22 if I wanna and the outlay for the .22 conversion isnt all that much under a hundred bones so I think I will be happy.

Great John,
I have read some and He seems to be really good at tuning those up when he sells them.
Of course this does not mean that you will have less interest in the B3's, just something else to add to the group there.
Have fun with it. Buy some CO2.

That's what I ordered too. I've read a lot of pros and cons about which is best for hunting , I don't have a lot of personal experience with airgun kills , but I have killed a few squirrels with .22 rimfire and shot place is everything as with any animal. I'm going to give the JSB Predators and the Gamo Tomahawks a try this fall. I like the flatter trajectory of the .177. kirby

The first money order for the "D" models went out yesterday, should get the first batch off the ship. Wish they had a Hyperdrive on that pig.............

I am in no hurry Mike take your time. I just got my new camoed stock back for B3#1 so she will keep me busy for a few days :)

When you get your QB78 and shoot it for a little while....like maybe 2 shots worth, you'll say "B3? What's a B3?". That's about when you'll be calling me or Steve and saying,"Man, when can we go shoot your PCP's at the ranch?". It's the natural progression, better start saving those duckets....or quit smoking and throw $4 into a hat every day instead:) That's what I did....and now look at me, I started with 13 guns and now I have 3.....hey wait a minute...I think I got robbed:(

LOL Dano, your right about the QB's they are sweet shooters when it is warm out.. But I like diversity.. hehe.. B-3's, S1K's, FX, B-26, etc.. hehe.... I can't say never but at this point in time, I would think of reducing my stable.. hehe, unless you came by one night while I was sleeping and swiped my guns.. heheh

Don't tempt Dano...... who's that outside of your shop Gene?. LOL.Ed

Actually Dan the QB will fit my no recoil needs for now quite nicely. As far as the PCP's go I wont shoot those seriously until I cant crank that barrel over or cocking lever down hehe. I like springers because they make me feel like I am actually shootin something. And right now I really dont mind the cocking effort. The PCP's you guys have are awesome guns dont get me wrong but they are almost too simple hehe... breath on trigger and pop and you can see the pellet hit the target in your scope. I kind of like the element of surprise after I pul the trigger on my springers and then have to readjust to see if I actually hit where I was aiming or if I moved or whatever. The first shot of Steve's S410.... I hit exactly where I was aiming first shot at 40 yards... I would be too spoiled with performance like that all the time hehe.

hmmm, next venture maby PCP hehe. Ed
-
Yea, but it gets kinda interesting when you shoot soda cans at 150+ yards, then you really do have to aim:)
Dan
-
Well then I need a higher power scope for 150 yards hehe. I am kind of curious as to the range of my current guns and maybe some day I will test it out.
