Hey Everyone,
For the past few days, we have been hearing the calls of another Great Killer Frog in our outback pond !
Well today as I began walkabout, going out to shoot my trusty Crosman 1377, I noticed the fish in the pond acting queer, so I went to investigate what might be causing all the commotion there. Upon arrival I see a flash through the water, into the cat-tails. I stopped and watched, to see if I could tell what it was. After about a few minutes, I saw the brother of the last, humongous killer frog, that I took out for killing my pond fish. I knew he was about, but this was our first and last encounter !
Well I made my way crouching low and slow, trying to get within 30 feet or so of my prey. With great difficulty I finally made it,myprey was directly in front of me. A deadly looking beaste, with cold staring eyes. So far I have been lucky, and the beaste hasn't noticed that I had changed my position. I charged my weapon, six pumps, and inserted a .177 calibre pellet. Now bringing myself up, to make this difficult, long shot, I stopped, the frog moved further away, making this more difficult than I had hoped. I decided to attempt this difficult shot, rather than chance the frog's detection of my further movement. Continuing to position myself, I was now on my knees, aiming at the head of the beast, the Frog. I had a firm hold on my pistolo and began to squeeze the trigger very gently, when the 1377 went off. The pellet crashed into the beasts head, right into his steely eye, killing him !
My pond fish are safe for another day, tho constant vigilance will be required to prevent other relatives of the Beaste Frog from coming, and killing my fishes !

Good shootin :)
I'm always afraid that I'll put a hole in the liner of one of our ponds liners, so I try not to aim anywhere near them. Bullfrogs are a pain. Glad to see yours are under control!

Ditto on the frogs legs! Best when lightly breaded and pan-fried in butter or deep-fried in peanut oil, IMVHO.
