: CO2 bulk fill
: July 02, 2007, 12:29:22 PM
Does anyone have any tips on intube bulk fill on the Crosman22XX series. I've got myself another 2250 and I'm making a new tube out of Hydraulic stainless about 2 1/2 times the standard tube and I want to do intube bulk filling and charge up off a 9 or 12oz paintball canister. Any help would be appreciated.

These guys sell a kit called the economy kit for $28.95 that works very well and while you have it apart why not just get a 2260 tube for a lot less trouble.    http://www.bryanandac.com/2240_variations.htm  They also sell a tube extension . kirby

I was thinking of the Max Flow system originally but I'm open to suggestions. I did think of the 2260 tube but I think stainless would look better. If it becomes to hard I will probably end up with the 2260 tube. I'm going to make an alloy stock with timber pistolgrips, cheekpiece and foregrip. Similar to the Walther Dominator Allutech. My goal is a blinged up shooter with superb accuracy.

just wondering how your 2250 project is coming along . Did you complete the stainless tube? kirby

I cant get anyone to do the machining for me. Apparently the stainless is too hard and will break the bits. I've put it in the back burner for now.

Thanks for the update , I tried to get a chrome tube from Mountainair for my build , but he was out of them at this time. My rifle (2250 crosman custom shop) hasn't showed up yet , but I got my 2260 tube, my Gil's adjustable butt stock with built in power adjuster , and my econo bulk fill kit from Bryan&Associates . When I get it all together; I'll post my before after pictures and results . This one will have some bling I hope . It'll have a blue/black laminated target grip and forearm from RBGrips. I haven't seen one put together like I plan for this one. Should look something like a 10 meter target rifle. I'm building it in .177 cal. and I'm hoping for somewhere around 750fps+ . kirby

Here's a picture before I installed the B&A econo bulk kit . After installation I found out the bulk mode was designed to give standard performance and was a little disappointed . I'm still working on it . I may get the regulated HPA paintball tank and hook up to it when funds permit. I shot it with CO2 carts before bulking and got 30 good shots that averaged 685fps ; after bulking I got 20 good shots at 680fps on a fill. If I left the tank hooked up I was getting mid 690's . kirby

This is my hunting 22XX. Started as a 2250. Now she does 760fps with 16gr JSB's. I made a new forestock for it to tame the upward recoil it produces. You can see the original under the gun.
