Well after my sucessful hunt yesterday I realized that one nutter would not be enough for the little lady and me, she's like's em too. At about 5:30 am I headed out to my hunting ground's again but with the ShadowSport and a tin of Tomahawk's. I reached my hide and settled in, nothing was moving yet so I sipped on a thermos of java and injoyed the sun coming over the hill's. A hour had passed when I heard the distant chatter that I had been waiting for and through the tree's I could see him moving along the limb's. I loaded a Tomahawk and waited for him to move into a good kill range. He had made his way in to about forty yard's and I began tracking him with the crosshairs. He must have felt something wasn't right because he froze on a limb so I placed the crosshair's on the side of his head and sent one first class to him. He dropped from the limb, hit the ground and dragged himself for about five feet and expired. Now I have two for the BBQ today, mission completed. Ed

Nice shot, Ed!! Ain't it great to get out there really early in the morning, not only to set an ambush for the little varmints before they wake up, but to just take in the start of a new day. That's one of the reasons why I leave the house to head to work before 6:00am; you can catch some spectacular sunrises that most people end up sleeping through. Also saw a really close shooting star once.
Keep up the good work.

Right in the brain box nice shot there M8 hearing you guys talk of BBQ's is making me long for summer. I see that those critters are your most common pest that you shoot your so lucky that you can eat yours I wish we could eat possum. :(

Hey Buddy,
My daughter and I just returned home a little while ago from our 3 day trip to the summer home in the mountains and the first thing I did was log on to GTA and check the hunting gate to see who blasted what.....
I seen you've been busy,,,,, nothin better than BBQ squirrels :)
As always,, good shooting and the pics look great. Makes me wanna get out there and hunt something :)
BTW,,,,,saw plenty of critters while we were up in the mountains, but I didn't bring any airguns since we went to work. We took a couple of breaks and went for some short walks in the fields and woods to check on the property. Saw turkeys, chipmunks and of course woodchucks. On one walk we surprised a fat woodchuck at a distance of 15 yards,,,, I was gonna pop him with my 9mm Glock and BBQ him for dinner, but my daughter wanted to take some pics of him so I let him live for "art sake".
Anyway,, great shooting.

It's a rubber grip which slid's onto the stock it also hold's my switch for my laser sight, didn't want to stick it to the stock. As I said before thing's are picking up around here, squirrel's everywhere and this morning on my way to work I counted ten rabbit's. MMMM rabbit, time for some more hunting. Ed
