Have decided to give up all forms of hunting dove with guns of any type as I have found a new system of getting all the dove I want with my new 1/4" gauge Window Extreme Hunter!! As you can see from the pictures of this dreaded device, this is not the first dove to fall to the accuracy of this fine weapon. I might add that the groups are a bit large at 24"-30" for three "shots" but it does not seem to lower the number of birds I bag using this method of hunting. By the way, I do have to run down the occasional "wounded critter" and use my backup weapon - my bare hand. Seriously, even with the light and the fan on, all kinds of birds smack into this window. Dove are the worst, but a few quail have come in at full speed and one day an owl almost took out the whole opening. Now if I can just get the jackrabbits and coyotes to run into my other new toy, the Hyper-Velocity 8' Sliding See-Thru Door Hunter Maximum, I will have a full quiver of alternative and fully legal to carry concealed hunting weapons. I have started a new effort with the NRA to protect our rights to own See-Thru windows and doors. Please send me $100 each to help keep this issue before our legislators who are voting on the "See-Thru Window & Door Ban" next week!

Ed, I have been driving rice burners for years, have a 2000 model now. I use the right front tire for rabbits and the fender well for quail. Will start looking for turkeys now that I now that the truck will not over penetrate on a quartering hit.

Sean, read your posts here on the GTA and on the New Zealand site. Will get down your way someday and will be sure to get together and shoot a few pellets at the dangerous game in your neck of the woods.

Right now the proposed ban is only in Caliornia. We had a good run while it lasted. It may be part of a plot by SC Edison to sell more electricity!
