Just called pyramyd air and they have not heard that Gamo is stopping the .22 . She did say they are not selling to the public directly anymoreand only certain retailers would get the .22's. They have plenty of CFX And Stutzens left in .22. That good news for me.

I love my new .22 CFX!

Last year I was looking to buy a Gamo 890 in .22 and Pyramid listed em when I ordered, but I shortly got a message saying they are no more. I soon found that to be true of al the Gamo break barrells. I guess they still make them, but only for overseas markets. I see them in the UK stores.

Correct no break barrels coming into the USA in .22. She said it stopped about a year to year and a half ago if I recall correctly.

Hey Peak can you put a little sand and glass in there when you rub it in. hehehe. Glad to hear you like it. Maybe after I dump these 2 scopes I have I'll be able to swing one. Wish the OT would kick in.
-
I also injoy my CFX.22 and my Gamo Hunter220.22. 8) Ed

they stop shipping the break barrels to the USA? Wouldn't you think that would sell them here too still.

I assume it was a decision made by the marketing "geniuses" and the bean counters. As I understand it, .177 air guns far outsell all the other calibers combined.
-
I just figured they would want to sell more of their products, and not limit what they have available for their customers.
Did they just stop selling them in the USA or all of North America?

When I was into this years ago .22 pellet gun were not common. .20 cal Benji's was the biggest on the retail market. Plus all the Pump BB guns were .177 so if think about all the pumpers you had as a kid all would shoot .177 pellets. The .177 market is huge. Still does not make sence concidering a large portion of AG Hunters use .20 or higher. Just a guess.

I understand and agree with you that .177 is very popular, I was just voicing my thoughts.
How many different models of .22 air rifles does gamo offer in the US.

A lot of rifles with wood stocks too. Interesting how few models they sell over here.
Cheers.
