: Shadow disassembly
: davee1 July 27, 2007, 09:04:08 AM
Any written procedures,  pics, links?  I've taken apart my Dianas with the help of my bsquare spring compressor, but the Shadow seems a little different. There's a metal piece that is on the end of the reciever, and it provides threads for the stock screw(the screw at the rear of the trigger guard) to go into. Does this peice have to come off? If so, how does one get it off?  Also how in the heck does the trigger assembly come outta there?

Hey Dave:

On my website on the "Airgun Info" page is a tuneup guide for the B-18/19. It is pretty much the same thing and you should be able to work your way through it with no problem.

and yes, it has to come out. There should be 2 flats on it that can be engaged by a 10mm open-end wrench. The trigger is held in place by a stepped bushing that fits over the rear spring guide - it can't come out until the rear spring guide is removed.

Spring preload is about 65lbs, so disassembly ain't all that difficult.
: Bob...looks like some stuff might be missin'

I don't see anything that has that specific tuneup guide. It looks like there are a few things missing out of the table, are you doing some site maintenance. Thanks for your post though.

Hmmm...seems like I tried the 10mm open ender, but I'll check it out again. Thanks Vince.

I think you mean the link that's called B19 supertune. That looks like it will definitely help, thanks!
