First phase is done, this is the stock off my ShadowSport which is in the process of getting a tune from me. The white is shot, 3 coat's and curing. Stencels ready and there will three colors applied, black, grey and a very light blue. Will keep you posted. Ed

I'm really lookin forward to seeing the end result buddy. Those snowy critters will never see ya comin :)
Jeff
-
Yup this gonna be a fun one buddy and when the stock is done the scope and acc. are next. Ed
-
Ed, that is going to look sharp. But as soon as I can get a couple of other projects out of the way you won't be needin it, unless you would rather have 1 for another rifle.
Mike
-
Hmmm buddy.... I just went snow blind..:) Man , I can't wait till it is done.. Now you make me wish I had snow and I hate snow.. lol
Gene
-
Mike, still want what you got going, this will be strictly for winter hunt's. Gene buddy, just move up here with me. I'll set you up with all kind's of snow and snow camo hehe. Ed
-
You a tease Ed,
I follow everyone of your posts, so I know I'll see the finished shooter !
But I love the snow, I just can't see me gettin up at 3:00 AM to go out in -10 degree temperatures, to trudge through the sssSNOW, any more ever ! The cold and old bones just don't go together !
But you YOUNG BUCKS have your whole life ahead of you, I have my electric blanket. hehehe !
-
lol Bill , I'll keep you updated on the snow camo job and I love getting out an hunting in the winter, just me and a sea of white. The cold let's me know that I'm alive, what a rush hehe. Ed
-
Just checking Ed. I was hoping to have started by now, but everything got pushed back a few weeks. The first of next week I'm going to finish my 2 that I've gotten started. I will probably be sending you my B-3 stock as soon as it's done, to get 1 of your special touches. Are you going to be using a few dif shades of grey, or just 1?
Mike
-
Mike, send it when your ready buddy and the snow stock will have one shade of grey, black and there will be a light blue haze, very light . If you look at snow ever notice a slight blue in it and the grey will be the shadow effect, kinda like where a snow drift form's with a shadow on one side. I think I will be setting the black up like twig's or branch's since I hunt in the wood's also. Ed
-
I do the same thing buddy,
I dress up real warm fight my way to the shed, all alone, start up the snow blower, and clear the snow off the driveway and sidewalk !
If I do a good job, my wife will drag my frozen butt inside and through a cover over me !
HEHEHE.....BURRERRRRR....couf..couf...couf
-
lol Bill, I get so far out in the white world that I don't think that the little lady would find till spring thaw. I'd be laying there with a varment in one hand and the other clutching one if my sweetheart's.........with a smile still frozen on my face hehe. Ed
-
Shadow, what paints do you work with? I've been curious ever since I came across the DuraCoat brand...any experience with this gun paint?
-
No Paul, sorry I've been working with the Createx Color's and a few odd's and end brand's but I will be checking into it. Have you used that brand yourself?. Ed
-
Now that I think of it, it's used for airsoft gun's, plastic and I think rubber also. Took me a second hehe. Ed
-
I haven't used it, just saw the DuraCoat at Brownings, and it looks like good stuff, but pricey... I like the idea of a snowy camo, will be watching this one!

"Isn't that Hatchet Jack's rifle?"................
