I don't know about you Guys,
But every time I see something I'm interested in, someone buys it sight unseen. Or I find two or three babies that have my interest, and by the time I make a decision, there gone.
I know you must be fast, but I'm not an impulsive buyer, I need to see at least a photo or two. and that is either my success or my downfall ? I would hate to receive a rifle that "doesn't represent the sellers description", that wouldn't be nice !
SO WHAT DO YOU ALL SAY OR THINK ABOULT THIS ????

I'm like you Bill,
If the gun is brand new from a dealer I don't have a problem slamming down the order button real quick,,, but if it's a used gun from an individual that I don't know I would certainly want to look at some pics, ask several questions and then take a little time to mull it over before I committed myself to purchasing it.

Man ; If I only had the funds to buy the ones I've seen on the classifieds and had to pass up . If it's something you really want and it's a decent deal and/or especially if it's a popular rifle, you have to jump fast or it''l be gone. I've seen some go in less than five minutes. kirby

The old saying of "you snooze, you lose" does apply when there is a great deal. Ive sold stuff on Ebay and locally on CL, and if you have a good deal, you WILL get emails or calls within 5 minutes , as was noted. The Proper thing to do is to take the first respondent and give them a chance to see the thing and make a decision. All within a reasonalble period. If I have a list of people all wanting to buy the thing, im not going to wait a week for someone to come out to see it first. Now this is the proper thing to do. But because of all the FLAKES out there, if a seller gets a lot of respondents, they will look at the list , and choose who they think is the most reliable buyer. They could care less whos first, or about giving you a chance, if someone else is waving money in their face. Ive jumped on deals before in the past w/o looking carefully, and ended up with crap. I learned my lesson, but I do know if I see something I want, Im gonna make every effort to contact the buyer right away, make sure they know I am Serious, and try to make some kind of arrangement.

I wouldn't want to be a buyer or a sell on the Classifieds. I have watched fellows get real mad when they are told that there e-mail was never received !
And I asked for photos twice, as the first response to an add, and never received the photos, and was told "I accepted the first, "I'll Take It !" SORRY !"
So for all the POOP, when dealing with people, I would rather have the Guarantee, and some piece of mind, and deal with a real dealer !
By the way, There's a BSA Lightning XL .22 Tactical on the yellow ! OOHHHH!

For the gun and the mount that is a great price on that Lightning Tactical Bill.......Better snatch her up! :)

Hey Peak,
I would, but it's a .22 !
I have shot .177 and .20 cal. for years, and have been happy with every one. However I didn't like the few .22 cals. that I have had. The selection of pellets back then wasn't what it is today, that could make a difference ?
If I go for another "Pretty" AirRifle, I like the Evolution with a walnut stock,in .20 cal, of course. But I would like a shooter next, a field type rifle to knock around with, maybe a R-7 .
