I took my Black Shadow Supreme .22 off the rack yesterday and cleaned her up a bit. I had a tag on the butt end that read.. RWS Superdomes...:) That is so I remember which pellet she likes to digest.. So I set up a target at 35 yards and started pushin lead. Was only a couple clicks off so she came into great groups right off. I played with her this morning for about two hours and I am ready for the dime challenge that Paul mentioned in a previous post. Gonna set up tomorrow morning real early at 40 yards and see how many dime size groups I can manage with 10 shots each..:) Maybe it will be a good day or maybe not..:) She shoots hard and on my chrony she is spittin out those RWS Superdomes 14.45 gr, at around 800 fps. which calculates out to about 20.54 fpe.. Correct me if I am wrong..:) I was not a good math student..:) Anyway the the groups have been tight and the chrony show less than 6fps over all variable with 10 shots. So she is ready for Pauls test...:) I do not expect any miracles but maybe I can come close.. The paper will tell the story..

Wind is a problem here sometimes but early in the morning around 5 or 6 am at first light, is the best time for me.. Glad I do not have any neighbors close by..:)

It's usually calm here early morning, but not today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Christmas of '05... Compasseco was selling off Shadow Supreme's in .22 cal without the scope for $104. Why didn't I get one? No open sights! And I didn't know that you could add them so easily....

I haven't shot my Black Shadow Supreme .22 in so long I almost forgot it was in the back of the gun safe,,, but after reading you post Gene I'm gonna break her out tomorrow (weather permitting) and put some lead through her.
Come to think of it my sister told me the other day she's having a big problem with a family of raccoons raiding her garbage can,,,,, hmmm hmmmm,,,, sounds like a job for the Black Shadow Supreme .22 :)

I took advantage of it Vince...:) It is a winner to.. Here is the picture of it before any tune or trigger. I don't know where I got that scope but it was replaced with at BSA shortly after. Now it is loaded with a full Turbo Tune with GRT-III trigger and a Simmons 4-12X40 AO Air Pro Scope..

Sounds like you picked the right tool for the job Jeff..:)

I have a somewhat modified Black Shadow Supreme in 22. I have added a new muzzlebrake and a Mendoza apture sight on the rear. Also I replaced the Stock with a camo version.
I will add a picture.

Looks real nice Jim.. How does she shoot? Do you hunt with yours or just paper? Did you do the camo job yourself?

No hunting just targets(hav'nt been able to hunt since I ended up in the wheelchair 5 years ago)
Mostly I just shoot indoors on my 10 yard range at various targets and knockdowns. The stock is a factory Realtree Camo design right from Gamo USA and cost about $30 or so easy to install its the same plastic as the black one just a camo coating. Since the picture was taken I have replaced the Muzzlebrake with a custom alum one with a higher fiber optic front sight(simular to the muzzlebrake on my CFX rifle. It works great and the higher front sight will give me more adjustmwnt room if i ever move out to longer distances with the gun. I bought the gun new a while back when they were selling on the auction sights for $149 with a cheap scope, the scope went to Texas for the kids program I put apture sights on the gun.
