: New Model Gamo's...

Hello all...

Does anyone have any " first - hand " information about the new  " heavy - barreled "  Gamo rifles. I am very interested. It is hard to judge a rifle from a picture and small write - up in a catalog. I especially like the looks of the fluted barrels. Thanks...

Sorry, don't have any information, just a question. Have you seen the new models on any of the retailers sites, if not, do you know when they will be for sale?

Ya Mike

I have seen them but most are on order. You pay now and they will send you one when they get it in...:)

Are you interested in any particular model?

Something in the lower power ranges like the Carbine Sport or the Recon, if it's really cheap. :D

Hello...

I like the looks of the " Hunter Pro ". Midsouth Shooters Supply has the best prices that I have seen so far. I like the looks of the " fluted " barrels. It makes a nice " wish - list ". Best of luck...

They look good, one guy on another forum has a NEW Shadow Sport, and he found out it just is a plastic cover over the same old barrel. Gamo is dumping a few of their models and updating some with new stocks and barrel covers.

This fellow who bought the Shadow Sport was suprised because it came with standard scope mounts not the one peice mount shown in the pictures on Gamo's site.

The s1k is no longer made and I think they are not making some of the hunter serice anymore,
