Natchez Shooters Supply has both calibers of the TF 97 listed at $69.99 At that price they would seem to be a bargin. Anybody here have one?

I have one in .22. Its a heavy gun, easy to pump and shoot. I have been waiting for the trigger to break-in since the 1000th shot, but it is not any better. Still creepy. The loading breach is a pain if you have a scope on it. Have not used it much since I got a 440 w/GRT.

IMO, it isn't a good deal becasue you can get a QB 36-2 from South Summit which is the same a TF-99 for $75. The TF-97 is the same as the the older Qb version, the QB 36-1. So for a little bit more you can a more powerful rifle.
Just my two cents.

Ever chrony it, and with what pellets if'n you did?

Dont have a chrony to test with, but the claimed fps that Compasseco lists is pretty optimistic. I would say more like in the 500-600 fps. You can actually hear the gun shoot and a delay before it hits the target. In comparison, my .22 panther has no audible delay.
