I had just got done posting a thread on "The Shop" and headed back out to my shop to do some target shooting with the fine 34. About halfway there I heard the chatter of a feeder raider so I dropped down on a knee and loaded a Gamo Rocket. Not knowing his location I slowly scanned the tree's, where are you nutter?. I looked up into the tree at the far end of my yard and sure enough there he was layed out on a limb relaxing. Not getting up I just turned and layed the sight's on his little ol head, let's see it's twenty five yards to my target board and he's up and at the corner of my yard. I raise the sight's a hair, figuring about thirty yards and sent him a Rocket. On impact he flipped off the limb and hit the dirt, he did his death dance and expired. The Rocket hit him just below the ear, nice and as I'm admiring my harvest gess who land's on the feeder behind me at twenty yards, load up another Rocket, spin around and drop him with feathers flying hehe. I was just going to the shop for alittle target practice, good practice session so I headed back to the house to clean my nutter for supper . Ed

Nice shooting.  Ed, I still can't believe there are squirrels left in your part of South Dakota, hehehe.  I have never tried Gamo Rockets.  You sure are doing a job with them.

Thank's guy's and the Rocket's are a heavy pellet, I think a touch over 9 grains and they show it when they hit something. Those squirrels keep producing and I'll keep filling my icebox hehe. Ed

Well done Ed. A larcincous tree rat and the dreaded avian scum get their just deserts.

Great shootin there buddy.  Those rockets certainly do pack a whallop !!  I haven't been using them lately, kinda forgot I had em on the shelf, but I think I'll break some out and let em fly :)

I've always found the rockets to be extremely accurate pellets in almost every one of my guns. Your pic shows just exactly what they can do.

Thank's Jeff and I hadn't had them out in awhile myself. I thought I'd see how they perform in the 34, you can sure hear em when the hit the target aka  varment. They are accurate in my babies and the 34 seem's to injoy them too. Ed

Ed what trigger is in your 34? Does it have a plastic trigger blade?

Thanks

Yes Jason, it's plastic. I purchased the 34 from my good bud Gene and he gave her a full tune, solid and smooth thank's to Gene's fine tune.:) Ed
