I know the mechanical specs - but I'd like to hear from those who have shot both. How do they compare in terms of shooting appeal? Which is more enjoyable to shoot? Which is easier to shoot? That sort of thing...

Vince, I guess there's the break barrel type and the side lever type.... and they stick to what they like?? I liked my 350 in 177.... between it eating scopes :)after a good lube tune, it was pretty smooth, it's juat that the "thunk" was more like a "THUNK!!!" :DStill, a lovely rifle though.

I have owned both the 48 in .20 cal and the 350 in .22. Both are heavy. The 48 was not as hold sensative as the 350 so it was a more accurate rifle for me. I also think the 48 shot just as hard as the 350. I still have the 350 and wish I would have kept the 48. Both are well made rifles. The 350 is more aesthetic looking, has some press checkering and long barrel. The 48 is short and stocky looking. If I were purchasing one myself I would have to go with the 48 but that's my take. Either one will do the job.
