Dear friends,
I want to express my happiness to be a member of this forum. I follow the threads here and learned a lot about airguns by following your experiences. I own two airrifles; a RWS 46T 05 Stutzen .22 cal and a Gamo Shadow Sport .177 cal. I like the esthetic appearance of my stutzen and after searching and trying different alternatives I had a Bushnell Scopechief 3-8 scope on it. However since the scope is for rimfires the mounts were too low and I mounted a rail riser from Chineese market under it. Maybe did not look good as before but still ok for me. The stutzen is V-Mach spring tuned.

I will post pictures of my Gamo Shadow Sport soon, when it returns back from a modification process, namely MuzzleBrake adaptation.
I will be a loyal member of the forum and I hope we will exchange ideas or at least I will read a lot and will enhance my knowledge.

Turkey is known for having made some very decent firearms, and we know that they make some airguns as well. Hatsan comes to mind, they make Daisy rifles that are sold in this country. Accurate and powerful, but they are known to be somewhat harsh.
I know that there are many different models from Turkey that are not available here. Do you have any experience with or opinions on them?

Your model 46 Stutzen is a beautiful rifle. I have always been very fond of Manlicher stocked rifles.

Yes Turkey has several firearm and airgun factories, one of which is Hatsan. Hatsan is making the best air rifles produced in Turkey. We here have a forum and most of the members of the forum are using Hatsan guns. The company authorities are very openminded people and they pay attention to advices and complaints submitted by the domestic customers. They are in close communication with respected and experienced members of the forum and has been investing on research studies lately. Their most preferred models are 125, 135 ...

The rifles are very powerful and I personally hear forum members' advices as not to put a scope on it before spring settles properly, that is after at least 1000 shots. The prices range from 60 USD to 200 USD.
Years ago, while I was a member of Ministry of Foreign Affairs I had visited Webley facilities in Birmingham due to a previous communication with their sales manager at that time. Mr.Simon Baugh and I met with a coincidence and the idea of importing Webleys to Turkey was discussed. I hosted Simon in Ankara for three days and our negotiations came to a point that the Webleys were too expensive. The currency exchange rate and to my surprise the stock prices were the two main reasons. He told me that they had stocks manufactured in Italy. I explained him that wood is a cheap material in Turkey and that it would not cost too much ! He sent me two stocks with blue-prints but later on things did not go as we expected. Now some models of Webleys are made in Turkey. :-))) I lately heard that Hatsan has invested on CNC equipment and is producing the parts for the Webley PCP rifles. But I am after getting a Longbow with Lothar Walter barrel from Hatsan.

Like Peak, I always loved the Mannlicher stocked rifles. I never bought one for fear of damaging these beautiful stocks.

I recognize the safety above and the the rear of the trigger - my Daisy Powerline 1000 had the same arrangement. Otherwise, though, this rifle looks much nicer.
It's a shame they aren't imported into the US... or are they?
