I ordered a Leapers 3X9X40AO Mildot and a medium height 1 pc mount and it arrived yesterday. I intend to try this on my Gamo 1250. I think the Bushnell (5X15X40 Mildot) that's on it gave up the ghost. A couple of weeks ago, I could not get any kind of reliable groupings with several different pellets at 50 yds at the gun range. I think the best I did was around 3.5 in and sometimes it wouldn't keep em on a paper plate. Plus there seemed to be no reason to how the pellets flew. Looked like patterning a shotgun. I checked and double checked the usual suspects (stock screws, dirty bore etc). While the same day, under the same weather conditions and same distance (50 yds outdoors), my RWS 350 w/ a Leapers 3X12X44 SF 30mm & Leapers 1 pc mount made some impressively small groups using Logun 16 gr Penetrators. Don't get me wrong, I like the 1250, and I hope and want to master it someday! It is a handlful, though.
PS I still have not chronographed my B-26 either. In the move of the house, I cracked 1/2 of the indoor lighting piece, both bulbs (of the chrono) and "misplaced" the fill probe for my AA 410 ERB. D'Oh! . Plus the "honey do list" is growing faster than I can manage. But I will mount up a scope and order a new lighting unit soon and replace the bulbs. The replacenment fill probe is $25.50 from Top Gun Airguns! I'll find it, if I have to turn the house upside down.
Regards

Nathan,
Was that the legend 5-15 or 3200? I've read the legend will not hold up on magnums. I have a 3-9x40 mildot leapers on my patriot with about 200 pells through it with no malfunctions yet. If this one goes I'll have to save the money for a leupold or Elite.

I have a Leapers 3x9x50 on my Gamo 1250 .22 and it's held up beautifully.

1250 oh what dreams may come, sorry hehe. From what I've heard they are a beast, rough and ready . There will be one in my future, just got to get all the other one's first lol. Good luck with your 1250 and scopes, she's one tough gal. Ed

Jason, it is the Legend model. You are probably right about it not holding up on a magnum. It was originally mounted on a PCP before. Although it doesn't "seem" to broke, it was one of the last things I could think of for the accuracy issues. I guess if it still doesn't shoot well with this Leapers then it's back to the drawing board.
