I was returning home from a doctors appointment this afternoon and was slowly coming up on a Walmart so I decided to stop in and see what they had in the sporting goods dept. I've stopped in a couple of Walmarts lately trying to find a Crosman G-1 Extreme to look at, but everytime I did they never had any in stock. Anyway, walked to the sporting good dept. and low and behold they had a whole shelf of em.
I don't really need the gun but ever since I first saw them online I've just been intrigued with the gun and have just wanted one, although I'm not quite sure why. I've almost ordered one about a thousand times online but have always managed to resist. Well, standing there looking at it in person my will power gave out and next thing I know I'm standing at the checkout counter handing the cashier money.
I just came up from my workshop a few minutes ago,,,, I took the gun apart, cleaned it, put it back together and then mounted the 3x9x32 Centerpoint scope with the included 1 piece mount. I'll let the loc-tite set for 24 hours before I test it out, but just holding the rifle I have to say I really like the feel of it, it just feel very "solid" and I really like the lines and look of the gun.
Not quite sure what to expect once I start shooting it, but I'm looking forward to putting it through it rounds. I hope it turns out to be as good as I want it to be. Will post a review in a few days.

I think you have it real bad, buddy !!! That's why I stay outta then stores that sell shooters. Everynow and then I'll see something that I like, and want it. But if I hold it, all bets are off, and worse yet, if I shoot it, that's when the hands start shaking and the little beads of sweet start forming on my face and I just gotta have it !!!!
Hope you enjoy you new baby, and I look forward to your review. that's how you got me in trouble with Goldie, and I had to marry her...hehehe

Don't really need another gun lol buddy. What you ment to say was that you really needed another gun right ?. :) Congrat's Jeff and I will really be looking foward to your review since I've been eyeballing them myself. :) Ed
